Der Tee selbst ist qualitativ gut und aromatisch, die Zubereitungsbeschreibung ist jedoch stark irreführend und entspricht in dieser Form nicht der Realität. Die Beschreibung wirkt teilweise zusammenkopiert und ist in sich widersprüchlich.

In der Anleitung wird empfohlen, ein Stück auf 200 ml Wasser fünf bis sechs Minuten ziehen zu lassen. Tatsächlich besteht die angegebene Einheit von 20 Gramm jedoch aus vier Würfeln, also etwa fünf Gramm pro Würfel. Diese Information fehlt in der Beschreibung vollständig und führt leicht zu einer massiven Überdosierung.

In Kombination mit der langen Ziehzeit resultiert das in starker Überextraktion und deutlicher Bitterkeit, wodurch Honignoten und natürliche Süße komplett verloren gehen. Gerade Anfänger, die sich auf die Angaben verlassen, erhalten so ein sehr negatives Geschmackserlebnis, das dem Tee nicht gerecht wird.

Mit deutlich geringerer Dosierung und kürzeren Ziehzeiten oder mit mehreren kurzen Aufgüssen zeigt der Tee dagegen sein eigentliches Potenzial. Zusätzlich ist die Beschreibung sachlich fehlerhaft, da am Ende von Shou Pu Erh die Rede ist, obwohl es sich um einen Dian Hong Schwarztee handelt, was zusätzlich verwirrt.

Fazit: Für den Tee selbst vergebe ich fünf Sterne, für die Beschreibung leider null Sterne. Die Zubereitungsangaben sollten dringend überarbeitet werden. Aufgrund dieser Erfahrung werde ich hier eher nicht erneut bestellen.
