Where does this tea come from?

Sichuan: The Gateway of Ancient Tea Traditions

Nestled between dramatic mountain ranges and lush river valleys, Sichuan is revered as one of China’s oldest tea-producing regions. Here, the legendary Mengding Mountains and sacred Emei Shan cradle tea gardens at elevations above 1,000 meters, shrouded in mist and nourished by mineral-rich soils. This region is renowned for delicate green teas like Mengding Ganlu and Zhuyeqing—praised for their fresh, mellow sweetness and vibrant aroma—as well as rich, chocolaty Sichuan black teas.

Sichuan’s storied tea houses, the heartbeat of local culture for centuries, bring together generations in celebration of craftsmanship and community. Steeped in imperial history, each cup offers a timeless taste of innovation and tradition.
