Fujian: The Cradle of Tea Innovation and Elegance

Fujian, a province famed for its lush mountains and coastal beauty, is the legendary birthplace of China’s most iconic teas. From the mineral-rich cliffs of Wuyi producing robust, roasted Oolongs (“Yancha” Rock Teas) like Da Hong Pao, to the gentle rolling hills of Anxi—home of the floral, creamy Tieguanyin—Fujian’s diverse terroir delivers extraordinary variety and depth. Delicate white teas such as Silver Needle and White Peony thrive in Fuding’s misty valleys, while the region’s black teas, including Jin Jun Mei and Golden Monkey, dazzle with smooth, honeyed complexity.
