Enjoy the golden buds of Ban Zhang in this 2014 vintage, crafted from large-leaf tea trees for a rich, aging-friendly Pu-erh. The tea leaves were harvested from Ban Zhang mountains at an altitude of 1,700 meters. The growing location has a substropical mountain climate with mild winters and warm summers. The tea leaves were harvested in 2008 and compressed in 2014. Unlike many other 100-gramm Pu-erhs, this Pu-erh is an excellent choice for collecting and has a Ney Fei – trademark.

Infusion: Deep, dark-ruby infusion.
Taste: Rich, smooth, and sweet, with aging potential.

Brewing instructions:
Rinse twice for 5 seconds before steeping. Stir the tea before pouring. Steep 6 - 8 grams in 500 ml of water at 90 - 95°C for 7 minutes. Suitable for multiple infusions. It is advisable not to drink it in the evening.

Bin bei Woche drei und das Stück ist noch gut halb. Man gießt die Blätter ja mehrmals auf. Wenn ich das gegen meine tägliche Bäckerei-Latte rechne, lacht mein Konto.

Der Vergleich mit der Latte gefällt uns richtig gut! Der Ban Zhang Jin Ya ist tatsächlich für viele Aufgüsse gemacht, ein Stück begleitet Sie also über mehrere Sitzungen hinweg. Schön, dass sich das auch fürs Konto lohnt.

Kaffee früh macht mir Sodbrennen, den hier trink ich direkt nach dem Aufstehen und nix passiert. Allein deswegen bleib ich dabei.

Da war er mir zu kräftig. Zweiter Versuch kürzer, seitdem passt's. Also einfach nicht so lange stehen lassen am Anfang. Magenmäßig vertrag ich ihn besser als Kaffee.
