Premium Chinese tea reflects centuries of artisan skill and rare, hand-harvested leaves, with some, like carefully aged Pu-erh, requiring years of traditional maturation to achieve their full depth. Each cup embodies the rich heritage and culture of world-renowned tea regions. Beyond taste, you’re investing in daily moments of calm, well-being, and authentic tradition. This time-intensive craftsmanship and cultural value naturally come at a higher price.

Absolutely. All our teas undergo rigorous testing by EU-certified laboratories for pesticide residues, heavy metals, and microbiological safety before entering the German market. We provide test certificates upon request and maintain the highest EU food safety standards.

Every tea in our collection is sourced directly from the most prominent producers in China’s seven most renowned tea regions, with Fujian, Yunnan, and Hunan being especially notable. We work exclusively with trusted partners such as Menghai Tea Factory, Haiwan Tea, and Kunming Hechangxuan Tea. By collaborating with these acclaimed tea gardens and master producers, we guarantee that each tea is genuine, traceable, and of exceptional quality.

We carefully select our teas from a wide and growing network of trusted producers across China’s most prestigious tea regions. Among our most prominent partners are Menghai Tea Factory Co., Ltd. ("Dayi")—an iconic Pu-erh pioneer from Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, recognized globally for exceptional aged teas; Haiwan Tea Co., Ltd., founded by celebrated Pu-erh masters and known for their classic "Lao Tong Zhi" (Old Comrades) offerings and strict quality standards; and Kunming Hechangxuan Tea Co., Ltd., praised for superb craftsmanship and unique Kunming-stored Pu-erh. With dozens of esteemed and emerging suppliers, we guarantee authenticity, variety, and the highest level of quality in our collection.

Tea preferences are highly individual, and the best way to find your favorites is to explore a range of varieties. We recommend starting with our beginner-friendly collection and our curated tea combination sets in the gift collection, such as Sheng Pu-erh for Beginners (5 types), Shou Pu-erh for Beginners (5 types), and the Chinese Tea Five Elements set. Each includes clear brewing guides, letting you confidently discover new flavors. As you try different categories and develop your palate, you’ll get closer to becoming a true connoisseur—our customer service team is here to support you with personalized brewing advice.

Green teas: 70-80°C (let boiled water cool for 2-3 minutes)
White teas: 75-85°C
Oolong teas: 85-95°C
Black teas: 90-100°C (freshly boiled)
Pu-erh teas: 95-100°C (freshly boiled)

These are our general recommendations, but keep in mind that every degree Celsius can influence the taste of your tea. Other factors—such as water quality, the individual tea, steeping time, and teaware—also make a difference, and everyone is free to discover their favorite style. For guidance, we include brewing recommendations on each tea’s product page as well as on the packaging, so you can brew confidently while still exploring and tailoring each cup to your own taste.

With the traditional Chinese gaiwan method, premium teas can often be steeped 3-8 times, and exceptional oolongs or pu-erhs may yield 10 or more infusions—each steeping reveals new flavor notes. Using a gaiwan, start with short infusions (20–30 seconds), then gradually increase steeping time with each subsequent brew. If you’re using the European teapot method, expect most teas to offer 1–3 flavorful infusions, with longer initial steeping times (2–4 minutes) to extract balanced flavor. Both approaches let you enjoy your tea fully—feel free to experiment and discover the style that suits you best.

While traditional gaiwans and Yixing teapots enhance the experience, our teas brew beautifully in any teapot with a fine strainer. For beginners, we recommend our "Essential Brewing Kit" containing everything needed for authentic Chinese tea preparation.

Store teas in airtight containers away from light, heat, and strong odors. Our premium storage packaging is perfect for this purpose. Keep teas in a cool, dry cupboard (not the refrigerator). Properly stored teas maintain peak quality for 2-3 years, though we recommend consuming within 18 months for optimal flavor.

Store each tea type separately to prevent flavor transfer. Particularly keep scented teas (like Jasmine) and strongly oxidized teas (like black teas) in individual containers. Our tea storage sets include multiple compartments for proper organization.

Aroma loss typically indicates improper storage or age. While the tea remains safe to drink, flavor quality diminishes significantly. Contact us with your order details—we may offer a replacement if the tea was recently purchased and stored correctly.

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and SEPA bank transfers. For German customers, we also accept Klarna and invoice payment options. All transactions are secured with 256-bit SSL encryption.
